- 250 gr. beans
- 1 onion
- 3 carrots
- 2 stalks celery
- 1 cup tomato puree
- 1/3 cup olive oil
- salt
Put the beans in a saucepan covered with water and boil them. Close the heat and leave for about half an hour. In the meantime, slice the onion, the carrots and the celery stalks. Turn on the heat again and add the chopped vegetables in your saucepan. Boil until the all ingredients are tender but not quite melted . Pour the tomato puree, the olive oil and salt and cook for another 15 minutes.
