Onion Balls

Ingredients:
  • 6 medium sized onions
  • 500 gr farina pudding (flour)
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1 tsp black pepper
  • 2 tblsns fresh or dried mint 
  • 1 tspn oregano
  • olive oil for frying

Peel the onions, wash and place them in a bowl. Add the flour , mint , salt , pepper , paprika and oregano
and knead well . Pour olive oil to a pan and by the time it is hot, take spoonfuls of the mixture (depending on the size you want to be the meatballs ) and fry them. Lay paper towels on a platter and place on it your fried onion balls to remove any excess oil. Serve them once they are slightly cool.
