- 1 ½ liter of fresh milk
- 1 cup of rice (carolina variety)
- 1 sachet of vanilla pudding powder
- sugar
- salt
Boil one cup rice in two cups of water in a pot by adding a teaspoon of salt and two tablespoons of sugar. In a bowl , mix 200ml milk with the contents of the sachet of vanilla pudding powder . In a saucepan , boil the remaining milk and when it starts to rise add the mixture with 200ml milk.
Add the milk mixture to the rice, stirring constantly . Add six tablespoons of sugar and when your mixture becomes viscid take away from the heat. Serve in bowls, sprinkle with cinnamon and enjoy.
