Green Beans in the Pan



Ingredients:

  • 1 kg fresh green beans
  • 1 tea cup olive oil
  • 2 chopped onions
  • 4 cloves of garlic chopped 
  • 3 potatoes peeled and cut in 4 pieces
  • 1 kg ripe tomatoes diced
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • salt
  • pepper
  • 1/2 tsp. fresh cinnamon
  • 1 bunch parsley finely chopped

Remove the nerves from the beans and rinse. Boil the beans for 10-15 minutes and throw away the water. Heat the olive oil in a saucepan and sauté the chopped onion and garlic . Add the tomatoes , the sugar , the cinnamon, the salt and pepper and a cup of water and stir. Allow the sauce over low heat for 20 minutes. After 20 minutes, add the green beans and the potatoes cover the pan and and cook them over low heat. Before, removing your pan from the heat check wether the potatoes and the green beens have boiled and if so add the parsley and stir and you are ready to serve.
