Tzatziki Sauce

Ingredients:
  • 1 kg yoghurt 
  • 2 medium cucumbers coarsely grated on grater 
  • 3 cloves garlic mashed 
  • 1/2 bunch dill chopped
  • 150 ml olive oil 
  • 2 tblspns lemon juice 
  • 1 tblspn vinegar 
  • Salt (adjust the amount depending on how salty you want to make the sauce)  




In a bowl add the salt and the grated cucumber. Mix, and refrigerate for 20 minutes. After that squeeze the mixture with your hand in order to remove excess liquid and drain. Add the garlic, the dill, the lemon juice and the vinegar and mix well with the help of a spoon. Add the yogurt and mix again. Refrigerate for another 20 minutes and you are ready to serve! Pour a quantity of your tzatziki sauce in a plate and add some olive oil as a topping! Keep the rest refrigerated and covered until it is all consumed.
