Olive Pies

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 package dough sheets 
  • 500 gr. olives, with no kernel, sliced 
  • 3 onions, chopped 
  • 1 bunch of mint (only leaves), chopped 
  • 1/2 teacup olive oil

In a saucepan saute the onions in olive oil over low heat for 5-6 minutes, until they are slightly softened. Remove the pan from the heat, add the olives and the mint leaves and mix well. Preheat oven to 180 ° C.
Cut sheets of dough in the first half and then horizontally three times. Spread a bit of filling in the entire surface of each sheet (except the edges). Fold inward on the edges of the sheet and continue wrapping a flute. Place the rolls on a greased baking sheet and bake for about 40 minutes or until the olive pies are golden brown.
