(for 600 gr of soap)
- 500 gr olive oil
- 150 gr distilled water
- 65 gr caustic soda (found in colors shops)
Use gloves during the process. In a stainless steel pot, heat the water until lukewarm. Slowly add the caustic soda, stirring constantly with a wooden spoon. After thoroughly dissolved, pour a little bit of the oil and continue stirring over low heat. When the mixture starts to thicken slightly, turn the heat off and wait until the mixture gets a few more boils. Then remove it, leave it to cool down a little for some time and add it in molds. Once the mixture is completely cool, store it in a place away from children. The fresh soap is not suitable for use because it still retains the alkaline character; requires 4-6 weeks to complete the saponification. When this is done, you will have whitish soaps with a pH around 7. Caution: save the utensils used for future preparations soap and do not bring back to the kitchen for cooking.
Uses:
Wash your hair and have your bath. The green soap leaves the skin smooth without irritation and redness.
Hand or machine wash layette hand with olive oil soap crumb.
Dissolve 2-3 tablespoons of grated olive oil soap in half a bucket of water and mop the floor.
Disolve 3 tablespoons of grated olive oil soap in water and make your own natural pesticide, which, with two or three sprays every five days, eliminates the aphids from the lemon tree and make the sick bay on the balcony to meet dramatically
Mix abundant lather of green soap with white vinegar and clear sanitary ware, sinks, and the inside of the refrigerator.
